At a glance

Reminiscent of southern Burgundy whites, this wine is well-balanced and very elegant. Pair with scallops and other seafood.

Winemaking

40-year-old vines grown on limestone-clay soil. Harvest occurs at night to preserve the freshness of the fruit. Grapes are fully de-stemmed and gently pressed. Maceration on the must for up to 7 days to gain additional richness.

The region – Languedoc

Stretching along France’s Mediterranean rim to the west of Provence, the Languedoc has been cultivating vines since at least 125BC.  With a constant drive for improving quality, the region today provides some of France’s best values. Spanning every style of wine from sparkling to still, bone dry to lusciously rich, the Languedoc offers something for everyone.
