At a glance

This classic Chablis is everything you can hope for in this appellation – a delicate nose with peach and yellow plum notes combined with the chalky minerality that defines the region. Ample mouth feel is supported by refreshing acidity and a long finish.  Serve with shellfish, fish & chips, or lighter vegetarian dishes.

Winemaking

Grapes are grown on limestone Kimmeridgian soil, the same as that of other fine wine areas such as Champagne and Sancerre.   Sun exposure is South/Southwest ensuring even ripening of the grapes.

The region – Chablis, Burgundy

Located at the northern extreme of Burgundy, Chablis is world-famous for its dry, steely, age-worthy Chardonnay wines.
