Winemaking

Respect for the environment is paramount to Domaine Buffet. No herbicides nor anti-rot products are used on the vines and the general approach is close to biodynamic.

Hand-harvesting and careful sorting ensure the quality of the grapes used in the wines. De-stemming is carried out according to each year’s weather and results. Oak ageing for 18 months; 20% in new barrels.

The region – Pommard, Burgundy

Known for producing the most powerful wines in the Côte de Beaune, Pommard is capable of long-term ageing and will develop sturdy richness with time.
